I’m April Roberts, a dedicated disability advocate with a lifelong passion for helping others navigate the systems that so often feel impossible to manage alone. My journey began when a close family member became seriously ill, and I suddenly found myself face-to-face with the overwhelming disability, medical, and community-support maze.

That experience changed everything.
It opened my eyes to how many people are struggling—quietly, desperately—without access to the resources that could keep them stable while waiting for SSDI, SSI, or VA benefits.

Over the years, working with clients across the United States, I’ve seen the same pattern again and again:
People are denied Medicaid, can’t afford medical care, don’t know where to turn for prescription assistance, and are unaware of the free or low-cost programs available in their own communities.

And while we have systems like 2-1-1, hospital social workers, and community access points, they often don’t have a complete or up-to-date picture of all the services people truly need — food support, utilities help, medical access, veterans programs, housing resources, and more.

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to build something better.

I am currently developing a nationwide, one-stop resource hub that brings together the links, contacts, county programs, financial-assistance options, disability tools, and community-based supports that most people are never told about. My goal is simple:
No one should go without help because they didn’t know where to look.

Through my advocacy firms and private practice, I combine compassion, experience, and direct knowledge of the SSDI, SSI, and VA claims process to empower individuals and families during the hardest seasons of their lives. Whether you’re applying for benefits, appealing a denial, or simply trying to survive while waiting, I’m here to help make sure you don’t have to do it alone.
